Illustration Friday: Phobia

Here’s my variation on George Orwell’s 1984’s Room 101. (If you don’t get it, go read the book.)

Other phobias:

1) That the generation that thinks everything on the news is a lie but everything on the internet is true will be of voting age soon.

2) That there will be nothing on the television of the future but Law & Order and CSI seven nights a week. Whoops- too late.

3) That Hollywood will make even more crappy remakes of classic movies, such as Citizen Kane, Blazing Saddles, and Brazil.

4) That Microsoft, unhappy that a few programs over three years old still run on XP, will release even more Service Packs.

Feel free to add you own.

Cool! Yes.....I have long had a fear that there will one day be a crappy remake of To Kill A Mockingbird....

There was once a Bloom County (or perhaps Outland) comic strip in which Spike Lee does a remake, calling it "Mo' Better Mockingbird."

Creepy drawing, good source too. I am beginning to have a phobia of Hollywood in general.

Oh man, that drawing is way too spooky! I can hear the little pitter patter of mice feet now!

Well done.

I'm afraid of the wrath of fanatics. Especially ones with bigger guns than I have.

That's one pretty scary illo!!! Very well executed.

Another phobia to add: Seeing too many signs that tell that the world is coming to an end...

Great Illo Tony! Scary indeed. Loved 1984. Was it originally a rat? Anyhow, I hate mosquitos and stomp 'em every chance I get.

This should happen to anyone who thought the Star Wars prequels were actually good !!!
