There's No Way to Delay- Mo' Trouble Coming Every Day

If you're a parent of a young child who finds he or she is always in trouble, may I suggest listening to this clip from Robert Anton Wilson's lecture in Quantum Psychology (I'd suggest right-clicking & downloading:) nogood.mp3

I don't understand it but I like it, especially the drawings of the animals. Do I have to listen to the pyschology mp3 to get it, or am I just dense?

Am on my way to the mp3 part.

There's a lot of energy in the drawing... are they addressing tribal taboos? A lot to think on and ponder. Thanks for the illustration and the mp3.

Very interesting drawing and mp3. I really relate to this, actually! It hits a nerve I would not want to explain in your comment box. But great drawing, anyway.

Cool drawing. Thanks for visiting my Trouble submission page. The blue thing is a drinking glass of water...or a portal to a dog-free house, your choice.

I'm not a parent, but this has instantly transported me back to my own childhood. Thanks, I think. *G*

Hi Tony,

I'm not sure what your illustration means, but I like it anyway. Maybe I'll get a clue while listening to the mp3 file.

My middle son was the rambunctious one, when he turned 18 I sent him off to the Navy and let the US government deal with him.

The person on the left sees the world one way (rabbit!) The person on the right sees it as another way (duck!) The poor guy in the middle is trouble, because he has the audacity to see both- in addition to other- points of view. (It's a classic optical illusion. Keep looking at it & you'll see what I mean.) Fanatics on either side of any issue (politics, religion, etc.) can't stand it when someone doesn't agree or disagree 100% with their position.

PS- The mp3 is an excerpt from a lecture I was listening to recently & merely anecdoatl.

This Zappa song popped up on my iPod the other day when I was taking a walk. It's one of my favorites of his...And I haven't heard anyone mention Robert Anton Wilson in years...I have "Prometheus Rising" around here somewhere...good snippit of his, too. Fun drawing...and also, about the Dogs song, I was pretty bummed when they picked that as the theme for the fashion show. I had the song in my head for a month! Thanks for your comment!

Oy.. I actually had that happen to me when I was in kindergarten. I was on top of a structure and two friends grabbed each of my legs and played tug-o-war with me... needless to say I found out what sand tasted like that day. blech. Great illo

The guy in the middle is an iNtuitive type and the other two are Sensory Judgement types*, so they're never going to agree with each other, let alone see each others point-of-view. The middle kid should duck on out of there. Excellent use of images and that classic optical elusion. This really says something about the human condition... (sigh!)
