For those who don't know, Habeas Corpus means that the government needs to actually have a reason before they can lock you up.
You would think this was a good thing, right?
No? The illegal immigration problem is so important that you are willing to give away your freedom for it? Okay... In that case, let's look at some figures:
Trump, both in his first and current term, has a combined tally (with voluntary removals) of 2.72 million illegal immigrants.
Obama on the other hand, had 5 million.
But here's the kicker: OBAMA DID NOT TAKE AWAY YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS TO DO IT.
He also didn't use it as an excuse to erode the separation of powers that protect you from tyranny. He didn't turn ICE into a masked Gestapo that could invade your home without a warrant. He didn't deport citizens, or those legally here seeking asylum.
And yet, despite all these things, he was STILL better at being a Republican than Trump.
Couldn't you just plotz?
So, if Obama was able to more effectively deport illegal immigrants without destroying your constitutional rights, then what is Trump's excuse? Not that illegal immigrants are any sort of good reason anyway, but why is he trying so badly to take away you and your children's constitutional freedoms and protections?
